Made@Home project that was originally funded by a MEPI small grant is developing into a program that is getting the attention, not only of the local media but of the Arab media too.

Saturday 1, December 2012 AlJazeera TV aired an 8 minutes reportage about Made@Home at 2:15 Beirut time. It was the second segment of the program “Zimam al Mubadara” a program about exceptional initiatives around the world.

Its latest project called “The Safe Mouneh” is funded by the US Embassy-Beirut Small Grants Program aims to help rural women produce “Mouneh” according to food safety standards. The first training session in Kfar Nabrakh-Chouf on 9 Nov, was a real success. Participants through practical training, mastered the art of safe food production. All of the 73 people who attended the tasting reception on Sunday 11 Nov, were happy to savor the delicious products. During the reception brochures comprising information about food safety were distributed and many municipalities in the region pledged to cooperate in the dissemination of these materials.
